“It was the first time in 6 years he attended an appointment confidentially. I let him take the lead - he answered all the paediatrician’s questions. He didn’t have his phone and headphones out for comfort. He didn’t get anxious about the blood pressure machine like he normally would. He spoke about his new school with love. I’m still bursting with pride! It feels so surreal after all these years! I never thought I’d see this day! I know there are still bumps in the road, but those bumps are so much more manageable now we have you guys in our lives! I can’t thank you all enough! You’ve all really changed his and our lives”
