Referral process

Many parents of young people with special educational needs struggle to find appropriate school places for their children. We are happy to discuss with parents whether the work carried out at Teaseldown School would be appropriate for their children. All referrals must come through your own Local Education Authority and your child must have a Statement of Special Educational Needs.

Teaseldown School is a very specialist environment and as such can only take up to 8 full time students at any one time.

We will consider children without formal diagnoses of autism or Asperger's Syndrome, but whose needs are similar or complex and have Statements of Special Educational Needs.

A Parent's Information pack is available from the school on request but please be aware receipt of the pack does not constitute an offer of a place at Teaseldown School.
