Our Service
Exceptional Ideas Ltd was set up by Hazel Bunting in 2007 to provide educational and management consultancy and training. Following 18 months providing training and consultancy in the area of Therapeutic Education, Brett Runchman joined the Board, thus increasing the services we can offer to include therapeutic intervention and consultancy in educational settings. Further, this partnership has led to the creation of a unique provision for young people aged 11 to 17 in the form of Teaseldown School, which opened in 2009.

We provide services to individual young people who are out of school or at risk of being out of school, including teaching and therapeutic programmes. We can also provide one off or longer term interventions to schools and businesses wanting to improve outcomes for students and staff. We are also able to offer an outreach service for young people who are transferring from one educational phase to another, including college and higher education. We are able to work with young people in Public Care and those moving towards independent living for whom we can develop a plan to support independent living skills.
